You may think it is our education and our many degrees, or our important acquaintances, or our skills, or even the money we already have, ourselves or our family. when you ask people around you will hear very often that if someone has it, it ensures its success.
Yet, your everyday life is full of people who have some, or even all of the above, but strangely enough, they did not succeed.
The only word that guarantees you success is perseverance.
I can guarantee you that if that is not something you own or trying to build already, your attempts to succeed are not going to take you far.
It’s simple to continue where others stop, but the word persistence is the key ingredient to success for all the great athletes all over the world, but also for the most successful people on the planet in general.
Persistence overcomes all the obstacles one by one that may be found in front of you. Any of these obstacles may delay you, but if you insist on improving your technique, success is assured.
When David Beckham was asked what secured his success, no miracle he did not say the acquaintances, and of course, he did not say luck. But he said: “When we all finished our daily training, I stayed for as long as needed at the stadium to perfect the techniques I had learned that day.”
If you do this for every new task or skill you engage in, at least the ones that relate to the success you are pursuing, not just today, but every day for the next whole year, just think, how close to your success will you be at the end of this year?
Look at your personal successes, small or big, and you will see your common denominator, your perseverance.
