EIT Digital Venture Program

June-September 2019

Found.ation-EIT Digital

Found.ation implemented the EIT Digital Venture Program last summer for the second consecutive year with the support

of EIT Digital, an accelerator program featuring 8 selected startups from Greece and abroad.

For the weeks leading up to their Demo Day, startups were regularly and substantially supported by selected mentors/coaches, networking opportunities with experienced market executives, and the ability to watch webinars for a variety of topics related to their projects.
(sales strategy, business strategy, legal issues, prototyping, business skills, pitching techniques, etc.).

The teams also went through a 6 week-long virtual mentoring phase provided by experienced mentors.

Natalia Deligiorgi, founder of Performance Coaching Greece were among the mentors/coaches called upon to support the 8 teams to meet the requirements of the program, prepare appropriately for the Demo Day as well as develop and complete their MVP.

Also, as part of the two-day intensive Bootcamp organized on 10 and 11 June 2019 at Found.ation’s premises, Natalia presented a workshop on the entrepreneurial soft skills that they need to develop to meet the requirements of their everyday life while growing their startup.

The teams then had the opportunity to have 1:1 time with each mentor of the program, to get individually empowered and manage to overcome any obstacles.  We defined objectives and goals for the teams – either on performance or managing problems that arose during the launch of their business. We also draw a roadmap to achieve the goals and held the leaders accountable.

The teams within just two months have shown how determined they are to succeed in the market, making their final presentation to investors and journalists in early September 2019.
